VON FLORES: Hello Spankers! You all have to identify who you are and where you are from when asking a question. I don’t like impersonal messages anymore.

Ryuuri: Hi Von! It's nice talking to you again. Do you think that they should have done more with Sandoval and Beckett's relationship? How would you describe Sandoval's relationship with Da'an in season one and later his relationship with Liam? Do you find fans over critical of the seasons 2 thought 5? I know of some who are doing an EFC restoration project because they are not pleased. I haven't picked up Passion of Artemisia but I will next time I'm in a book store. 

VON FLORES: Ryurri, I think Sandoval should have Beckett more.... Ryuuri, The relationship with Da'an in season 1. He had a great deal of respect for Da’an. Almost looked at him as a deity.... He never trusted Liam but there was something he could not explain about his soft spots for Liam... and obviously that because he had a blood relationship. Yes in regards to fans being over critical. Ryurri, where are you from?

Da'an's Consort: Hi Von!! Geraldine from England.........we met twice at London Con.............that was a great dance we had together:) which is your favourite season and did u ever get ur book written? 

VON FLORES: Da'an's consort, hello Geraldine.... I think its still the first season.... for many reasons. The book is not finished. I am still trying to distil all the past five years. 

ReneePalmer: Hi Von, speaking of blood relations, I was wondering if you thought that Liam should've told Sandoval that he was his son, and if you thought that was an appropriate way for Sandoval to die. 

VON FLORES: ReneePalmer, Hey Jayne what the hell are you doing in my chat? ReneePalmer, I don’t know if Sandoval needed to learn that he was his father from Liam. But certainly he needed to know before he died. I really don’t know if there is anyway for anyone to die appropriately. Are you telling me Sandoval is dead? 

VON FLORES: Hey Robert what the hell is you doing in my chat? LOL that's hell!

wile1: Hi Von. Thanks for being here and chatting with us again. Last year I asked you if you would like to see Sandoval become the hero at the end of EFC and of course that didn't happen. Would you have preferred to have had him become a hero or to go out like he did? Oh and I’m wileyone aka Lou Ann the coyote of the sphere...lol from right here in my hot no air-conditioning because it broke house... I think *veg* that’s in hot hazy humid West Virginia USA 

VON FLORES: Wile, It wasn’t Sandoval’s show and Sandoval was hired to be the bad guy. To make him the hero in the end would have been completely selfish act. it would have made him the fourth hero of there show. You have to remember that there were 3 heroes in 5 season and only 1 bad guy in 5 seasons. If people talk about the show they may confuse who the heroes were... but there is certainly no question who the BEST guy was. "Top of the World Ma!"? 

HEG: Hi Von We meet in Toronto a while ago I know you are a good dancer. What is your favourite type and what is the oddest thing you've done while dancing? 

VON FLORES: Heg, That depends on which strip club I'm at. How much I've had to drink... how big the tip is... and how tight the G-String is. 

M: What have you gained from working on a Gene Roddenberry show and what Gene Roddenberry qualities do you think EFC embodied the most? 

VON FLORES: M, I've gained 12 pounds.... GR always knew about humanity... plain and simple. BTW, Hi M! 

VON FLORES: Rosie Sandoval, where r u from? 

RosieSandoval: North Carolina. 

RosieSandoval: Um...what connection does Sandy's shades have to all the explosions? 

VON FLORES: Rosie, I don’t understand the question. What do you mean by shade and explosions? You haven't been looking into my window at night have you?

VON FLORES: Ferret, LOL my weasel has never been refereed to as "Little" as a matter of fact.... it commonly known as "the Humiliator!" 

Beatles: Hi, Von, thanx for chatting with us :D from Colorado here. :D Sandoval makes the list of my favourite characters ever, but I noticed there was a change in his character in season5(in his way of thinking etc...), how did you feel about that change? is there anything you would have changed about him(any season) or that didn't happen that you would've liked to happen(i.e. him finding out about Liam etc)? 

VON FLORES: Hey Beatles, where's Ringo? Beatles, I would have liked him to change his wardrobe. For the most part I tried to do the best that I could with what I was given... go Brasilia! BRB

Synod_Leader: Hi There Mr Flores. Thank you for having this chat with us. I was wondering, where did you see your character, Agent Sandoval, ending up? In Season 4's "Atonement" we saw him try to repent for his sins which seemed to indicate he will find redemption. But as it turned out, he claimed he regretted nothing. Where did you see Sandoval ending up? One other thing, there is a science fiction convention in Glasgow (Scotland) every year, usually the last weekend in August. They have guests and what not but there’s never been anyone of your status there. Is there any chance that you might attend in the future? It would be great to see you there and I know there are many Scottish fans like myself who would also love to see you there too. Last year I managed to acquire an autograph which you signed at a German convention. How does it feel to be part of the Roddenberry legacy? 

VON FLORES: Synod I had a contract to fulfil with the producers and thus whatever they wanted was my vision. Until such a time were I can take control of the creative process I am a hired hand. I would love to visit Glasgow again. I loved Scotland on my last visit and would welcome another visit. But you have to make sure my friend Eugene is there with me so we can maximise our mischief. 

DaFerret: ooohhh, both in kilts.. 

Cynmar: Cynmar from Kentucky, here (yup)...Von, your character went through a wide range of complexity, from devoted protector, to secret avenger of sorts, to mercenary etc. How would you characterise him, overall? 

VON FLORES: CYNMAR....CONFUSED AS HELL

VON FLORES: Just to let every one know that I will stay on until everyone has had a chance to ask at least one question each. After which I will self-destruct. Hey Heather. Great to hear from you. I'm sorry I wasn’t able to come to your grad. But I was there in spirits(oops). Congrats. I have a lot on my plate right now. I am writing a lot and reading. I hope to produce something in the near future.

VON FLORES: Hey herve great to hear from you. I have been meaning to call you but you already answered my question through your email. We have to chat though. I am still waiting for andromeda to call. 

ReneePalmer: Hey Von, earlier, our friend Rosie, who you know as the girl who talks to you about her bf Diego, asked about you and putting on your shades and walking away and something exploding like in "Take No Prisoners", (Justin Kalen's limo explodes when Sandoval puts on the shades baby!! LOL!)she was joking with ya, cause you're like "secret agent man, Ron Sandoval" put on the shades and BOOM! LOL!!

Immi: Yow Von, this is Imran from the Netherlands. You were there a few months ago (did you visit any coffee-shops ;-) My question is : You said you wanted a 'Von Flores' website . Any progress?? If so, what will you be putting on it? Also, how was the party in Berlin ?? ;-) 

VON FLORES: hey immi, I had a great time in the neth...I didn't get a chance to visit a cafe this time but I have been to a few on previous visits. the party in Berlin was a lot of fun, as usual. the website is in progress as we speak. Sarah w and Christian are doing a fantastic job. 

Black of Night: Hi Von. This is actually a few combined questions (like that’s not been happening, no no). I was just wondering your opinion on how season 5 and the series finale was handled. Did you feel it was rushed at all? Were you ever consulted on ideas on how to portray your character, or just handed scripts? And if you had to choose a favourite season, which would it be and why? 

VON FLORES: I still liked s 1 the best because everything was new and exciting and it had my favourite episode. I don't try to concern myself with the inner workings of the production. That's not my job. they hired people specifically for that purpose. I was never really consulted, up front, about how I should or should not play the character. I was given notes once in a while or I would have to redo a line in post but for the most part I was left to my own devices. 

Da'an's Consort: hi Von ........................... Geraldine again .................................I'm speaking on behalf of Vikkie from UK her comps playing up she asks do you read our Fan Fics? 

VON FLORES: hi Vikkie, no I don't read fan fics...sorry. Not enough pictures 

Anja+Kerstin: hi von! we are the two girls from Berlin, remember us? skinny girl and her niece! Are u working on a new project? Is it going to be a funny movie? We would love that! We will see us in Hamburg in November! Any other plans on coming to Germany in the next months? Are your cats still alive? please sign a soundtrack cd and give it to us in Hamburg, thank u! 

VON FLORES: hey anja and kerstin, great to hear from you guys. I had a great time with you guys in Berlin. I am currently writing a lot and it is a variety of things. Yes, my cats are still alive. I look forward to Hamburg.... 

KristenJones: I hear the Robert Leeshock like Blue Chiana women. Is this true? 

VON FLORES: KritenJones....you'll have to wait a minute before I can answer this question. I'm too busy laughing out loud. Wait. I've fallen off my chair.. 

Knight In Shinning Armor: Was it hard to say good-bye to every one you worked with on EFC 

VON FLORES: that is a very good question knight....an emphatic yes. I spent five years of my life in a very close environment. We went through a lot in those five years. I don't want to be too sentimental about it but they were certainly the best part about going to work everyday....I miss them 

LdyPayne: Hello Von. I am Sandra and I live about half an hour west of North Bay, ON. Heh, Goddenport asked my original question so I am revamping. You mentioned you hope to produce something..any ideals on what sort of film you would like to produce? Will it be a television series or a full feature film? 

VON FLORES: At this point I don't really know what will happen in the future. I am focused on writing and concentrating on what tickles my fancy. I am a huge fan of non "Hollywood" type films but that won't preclude my doing a project from there. It doesn't really matter TV or FILM. they are equally difficult. 

MerrickWatcher: MerrickWatcher from Southern California. Hey Von, What does it feel like knowing that there are MANY MANY MANY people who wake up with your picz/posterz all over their room, house, or whatever? 

VON FLORES: hey merrick, I never thought of that. I don't know if there is anything like that out there, is there? Personally, it would give me nightmares to know that there is a picture of me hanging over my bed. Besides, where would I put my picture of farah fawcette? fawcette in a bikini 

Nighthawk: Five years on EFC was a pretty long time to be on one show and you were one of the best things about the show, IMO. Besides the people you worked with, what good things do you feel you learned from being a part of it? Are there some other things that you consider "learning experiences" that you could share with us too? How do you think your experiences on EFC will help you in the future? 

VON FLORES: nighthawk, I learned a great deal from being on a successful show for five years. I really don't know why I was chosen to stay for the whole time but I am indeed very grateful. I have certainly learned that there is no one person that can make a show but it only takes one person to break it. There are so many precious things in life and we don't seem to take care of them enough. I feel that if I listen more than I talk then I am bound to learn something. I loved the experiences I had on earth. In retrospect those experiences that were most difficult and painful proved to be the greatest opportunity for growth. I hope I have grown from Earth. I certainly feel I have become a better person from it. I hope, also, that I have been nice enough to enough people along the way. Finally, I don't think it's necessary to have a lot of friends but it is a must to keep a few (only) enemies..... 
VON FLORES: I thank you for coming to the chat. I enjoyed it tremendously. I love Eugene. He has proven himself to be quite a true friend. I also loved working with Robert ( I miss him).
